Symlabs posts record revenues for Q1 2006

Symlabs posted record revenue for Q1 2006, based in part to very strong sales of its premier enterprise directory software, Directory Extender. Jeff Zukowski, Vice President of Marketing for Symlabs, had the following to say:

"We are pleased with the continued revenue growth and expect that we will see even stronger growth next quarter with the release of version 3.0 of Directory Extender. We have responded to customer feedback by implementing a first-rate graphical user interface and other usability features to complement our extremely powerful virtual directory engine - a combination of power and usability unmatched by any other product."

Zukowski further explained "The enhanced graphical user interface will help us to penetrate new markets beyond our traditional customer base, which includes major telecommunications and financial companies - but it will also allow us to remain competitive in those markets as well."

Two other factors are expected to play an important role in Symlabs' continued strong financial and market share growth in the coming months.

The first is broadened platform support across its entire product line to attract new customers across a wide range of industries. Supported operating systems include Solaris (Sparc and x86), Linux, AIX, HP/UX and Microsoft Windows.

The other major component of Symlabs' strategic revenue and market growth plan is the upcoming release of the next version of its premier federated identity and access management product. Symlabs Federated Identity Access Manager implements various Liberty, SAML and WS Federation protocols. It also incorporates fully functional implementations of an Identity Provider (IdP) application, Service Provider (SP) application, Discovery Service application, to name just a few.

Sampo Kellomäki, Lead Architect of Symlabs Federated Identity Access Manager, explains: "Symlabs' products integrate seamlessly into existing Identity Management systems offered by our larger partners including IBM, Novell and Sun Microsystems. Our goal is to enhance our clients' Identity Management ecosystems by providing robust applications that significantly outperform standard components."
