Symlabs Announces Identity Management Product Upgrade

Symlabs' Identity Management product upgrade includes support for newest Liberty ID-WSF 2.0 standards
Barcelona, Spain. (February 13, 2006) - As the annual 3GSM telecommunications industry trade show got underway in Barcelona this week, Symlabs announced the general availability of version 3.0 of its flagship Identity Management product - Symlabs Federated Identity Access Manager. The upgrade includes many enhancements, including full support of Liberty ID-WSF 2.0 standards.
This continues Symlabs' tradition of early adoption of SAML 2.0 and ID-WSF 1.1 technologies and bringing new Identity Management standards-based products first to market. Symlabs is an active participant in the Liberty Alliance and makes significant contributions in the development of new IdM specifications. Last summer Symlabs was one of only a handful of companies that achieved SAML 2.0 certification. Other certifications earned by Symlabs include ID-FF 1.2 (certified in October 2004), ID-WSF 1.1 (certified in May 2005), and WS-Federation (interoperability demonstration at Burton Catalyst 2005) in Identity Provider, Service Provider, and Enhanced Client roles.
