McLean, VA, USA; 31 MAY 2005 -- Symlabs, a leading edge developer of Federated Identity solutions, today announced that it has successfully tested its SLIM product at the Liberty Alliance May 2005 Conformance Event. SLIM stands for Symlabs Liberty Identity Manager, and provides all of the components needed to implement a federated identity management solution.
Symlabs tested v2.8 of SLIM IdP, SLIM SP Base and SLIM Personal Profile Server. SLIM v2.8 is certified by the Liberty Alliance to fully conform to ID-FF 1.2 as well as the following WSF 1.1 protocols: IDP, DS, LUAD WSC & LUAD WSP. This is only the latest conformance event for Symlabs, which is commited to interoperability in the Federated Identity marketplace.
Symlabs is currently a Sponsor member of the Liberty Alliance and has been actively involved since 2002. Symlabs has played a pivotal role in several Project Liberty specifications, including the PP-SP profile.
