Symlabs Identity Federation Product becomes SAML 2.0 Certified!

Chicago, IL, USA; 16 August 2005 -- Symlabs, a leading developer of Federated Identity and Web Services solutions, today announced that SLIM version 2.9, the Symlabs Federated Identity Management product, was awarded the certification for OASIS SAML 2.0 conformance for all profiles available for certification, including:
* IdP (Identity Provider)
* IdP Extended (IdP proxying and NameID Mapping)
* SP (Service Provider)
* SP Extended (IdP Proxying and NameID Mapping)
* ECP (Enhanced Client Profile)
* SAML Authority for attributes, authorization, and authentication, and:
* SAML Requester
* SAML Requester for the same
This certification cements Symlabs' leadership position in Identity Management, complementing the previously obtained certifications for Liberty ID-FF 1.2 and ID-WSF 1.1 as well as interoperability in WS-Federation passive requester profile, demonstrated in the recent Burton Catalyst 2005 conference.
