Symlabs Brings Identity Based Directory Access Protocol (ID-DAP) to Liberty for Standardization

Symlabs, the leader in Identity Management and Directory Infrastructure software and solutions, has initiated an activity within the Liberty Alliance to standardize the pseudonymous identity access to user directories deployed by enterprises.
Symlabs develops and markets state-of-the-art Directory Infrastructure software and Identity Management software. Because of its extensive experience in both fields, Symlabs has recognized that most practical directory deployments are in essence identity management systems and from a business perspective it makes perfect sense to Liberty-enable them.
Existing specifications, such as Personal Profile, are well suited for enterprise collaboration. However, full integration of internal uses within an enterprise necessitate a more flexible Attribute Provider service: this is the precise niche that ID-DAP is set to fill.
