Apache Directory Server

ApacheDS is an embeddable directory server entirely written in Java,
which has been certified LDAPv3 compatible by the Open Group. Besides
LDAP ApacheDS supports Kerberos 5 and the Change Password Protocol. It has
been designed to introduce triggers, stored procedures, queues and views
to the world of LDAP which has lacked these rich constructs.
Symlabs Virtual Directory Server and LDAP Proxy are fully capable of working in conjunction with Apache Directory Server to resolve a number of integration challenges related to identity management. With Symlabs Virtual Directory Server's support for GSSAPI and SASL, it is thoroughly capable of taking advantage of ApacheDS's Kerberos capabilities to handle authorization and encryption requirements.
