Novell eDirectory® is a widely used component within corporate identity infrastructures, particularly used in conjunction with other Novell software. As a mature directory, Novell eDirectory supports a number of features that many client applications have come to rely on. If a company wants to migrate data to an alternate repository, the biggest hurdle is the requirement to support existing clients in a way that they expect their connections to be handled.
