OpenLDAP

Overview
OpenLDAP is an open-source LDAP v3 server that has a reputable history in the Unix and Linux world. Many of the LDAP tools developed by the OpenLDAP team are the de-facto tools used by Unix and Linux administrators around the world. Due to its ubiquity, OpenLDAP is used in a wide range of deployments, whether for commercial projects or for simple hobbyist purposes.

OpenLDAP is complex software and it comes with its own set of challenges, including the fact that as a project that is collaboratively developed for free, support is relatively limited.

Symlabs identity management software has been used in conjunction with OpenLDAP deployments to resolve a wide range of identity related problems. We're confident that our software is fully compatible with OpenLDAP and can help administrators and integrators to overcome a variety of identity related challenges.
