Federated Identity Suite :: Identity Provider (IdP)Telco Edition

An Identity Provider Designed For Network Operators

Symlabs Identity Provider, Telco Edition is the component of Symlabs Federated Identity Suite that delivers a complete multi-protocol Identity Provider that can be quickly and easily implemented in a Telco operator environment. It distributes subscriber authentication data to Service Providers for easy implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO) environments, and it offers Federation and Session Information and management to support Defederation and Single Logout (SLO).

Symlabs Identity Provider, Telco Edition delivers the performance and scalability necessary to handle tens of thousands of Single Sign-On requests per second, and features flexible authentication stacking that combines implicit authentication with intelligent IdP proxy selection for efficient convergence. It accepts authentication data from a WAP Gateway, a RADIUS Server or any Common Repository in a network, and supports mobile devices and client applications via Liberty User Agent and Device (LUAD) profiles.

Flexibility Combined With Industry Standard Support

With support for all aspects of the Liberty Federation Framework, Symlabs Identity Provider, Telco Edition can act as an Attribute Authority to send attribute-based identity information, as an Authentication Authority offering a query interface for issued statements, or it can relay its authentications in IdP Proxy mode. It is a fully functional Web Services Framework Authentication Service that supports various methods for Liberty User Agent and Device authentication, plus it includes Symlabs Discovery Service (DS) which can be deployed as an integrated component or completely stand-alone. Symlabs Identity Provider, Telco Edition achieves maximum flexibility through a triple standard approach for SSO plus Session and Federation Management, and delivers maximum security by embracing Liberty ID-WSF 1.1 and Liberty ID-WSF 2.0 specifications for the exchange of identity information.
