Terminal Server Login Enables Enterprise SSO Access

Symlabs Identity Provider, Thin Client Edition, is the component of Symlabs Federated Identity Suite that enables Single Sign-On (SSO) for desktop logins managed by terminal servers and enterprise applications. This unique product is a specialized Identity Provider (IdP) that makes Single Sign-On (SSO) to enterprise applications completely automatic for thin client workstations. When a user logs into his desktop, Symlabs Identity Provider Thin Client Edition throughout the enterprise. It is also provides support for fat client enterprise applications, such as SAP, so they also be integrated into this environment and use the same IdP as thin clients.

Extend Identity Web Services Applications To All Users

Identity Web Services, based on the Liberty Alliance ID-WSF, move enterprise applications up to the next level of access control, security, and audit readness. Symlabs Identity Provider, Thin Client Edition, enables an enterprise to easily extend the advantages of Identity Web Services to the desktops connected to terminal servers, or to identity-enable its workforce while simultaneously deploying a thin client solution. It ensures that each employee is robustly identified to applications using digitally signed SAML assertions while also giving them the convenience of Single Sign-On (SSO), and it provides the added security of Single Logout that closes all active sessions automatically.

By adding Symlabs People Service Server along with Symlabs Identity Provider, Thin Client Edition, enterprises can establish complete act-in-a-job-role solutions that enable employees to perform business functions using a digital corporate identity that corresponds to the job they are authorized to do, rather than their own personal identity.
