Authentication Solutions
The most common use, by far, for LDAP Directories within any identity infrastructure is for authentication purposes. As a result, some of the most common issues involved in this space are authentication related. Issues range from identity data being distributed across multiple directories, through to authentication handling protocols such as Kerberos authentication.
Many of the other 'Solution' sections on this website, such as the request routing, virtual content and integration sections, will deal with issues that still relate to authentication but solve specific problems that may be related to wider concerns. In this section, we will focus more fully on solving problems directly related to the authentication process itself.
Symlabs Virtual Directory Server and Symlabs LDAP Proxy are both perfectly suited to resolving a wide range of authentication and integration issues. Please take a look at some of the pages in this section to see how we are able to handle particular authentication challenges.
