Testing and Rollout

Before you "go live" you will want to perform some initial testing and then, when you are ready, you will need to launch the project as a live and functioning solution. The initial testing phase requires knowledge and experience dealing with various testing tools and benchmarking applications.

Symlabs has lots of experience testing deployments and producing benchmarks that can be used to evaluate overall performance and stability. We have experience testing our own products running on a variety of platforms and working in many different processing roles. Moreover, we are experienced at testing various other products and the different elements that make up a solution, including all of the major LDAP Server applications and many different client applications. We are well aware of the many testing pitfalls that may skew results or may provide faulty data, and understand how best to get around these problems.

When you are ready to "go live", our staff can be on-site to ensure that everything runs smoothly and any teething problems are resolved with efficiency and a great deal of professionalism. With the experience of launching several very large projects for some of the worlds biggest players in many different industries, Symlabs staff have learned how to keep their cool and work calmly even in some of the most stressful situations. When you launch your project, it is always worth having an engineer on-site who has the experience and knowledge to counter any potential problems that may arise. Symlabs can offer the experience and knowledge that you need at this crucial phase of your project's life-cycle.

EXPERIENCE AND SUCCESS STORIES

Symlabs staff have been present at the launch of most of our client's deployments, providing the confidence needed to watch over the release of a new project. Your project need be no different. Symlabs staff can provide the certainty that if anything should fail during a launch, there is the expertise at hand to resolve the problem and guide the project to completion.

In one of the largest deployments that Symlabs has been involved in, a major global telecommunications company rolled out a solution that consisted of a set of servers holding more than 200 million entries of critical service data. The Symlabs systems used in the deployment were critical to its successful operation and included many customized scripts and configuration entries that were fundamental to the way that the project would function. Symlabs employees were on-site to resolve bugs found during the testing phase and assisted with the launch process to ensure that the project ran smoothly. This successful project has been in "production" for a number of years now, and has been running without issues since its launch.
